Electrical and Mechanical Role

At Thames Water Utilities Limited, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Technician to join our Water Production team at Hampton Water Treatment Works.

This challenging role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve electrical issues affecting our water production processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Investigating and repairing electrical faults to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Executing scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and safety of electrical equipment.
  • Collaborating with other teams to implement solutions that improve overall operational efficiency.

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • A solid background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with relevant certifications such as an NVQ or C&G level 3.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced industrial environment, preferably with exposure to large-scale water treatment plants.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A valid driving license for occasional business travel.
