About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team at AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch). As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting AWS services in a defined territory or industry vertical, developing and executing against a comprehensive account/territory plan, and creating and articulating compelling value propositions around AWS services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote AWS services in a defined territory or industry vertical.
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
  • Facilitate customer adoption.
  • Maintain a robust projects pipeline.
  • Work with partners to extend reach and promote adoption.
  • Contribute to positive customer experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • Significant Enterprise account management or business development experience in the IT industry is essential.
  • A technical background in computer engineering, computer science, or MIS is a plus.
  • Direct field experience in working with higher education accounts and at executive level, also highly desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A solid understanding of standard office productivity tools is essential.
  • Previous experience of sales methodologies and toolsets is highly desirable.
