Automotive Service Reception Manager

We are seeking an experienced Service Reception Manager to join our team at a well-established Motor Trade Dealership in Epsom, Surrey. As a Service Reception Manager, you will be responsible for managing the repair of vehicles in a timely manner and to brand standards, ensuring excellent customer service, and providing administrative support to the Aftersales Department.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the repair of vehicles in a timely manner and to brand standards
- Responsible for multi-channel communications with customers in progress
- Full administrative support to all areas of the Aftersales Department
- Ensure that the Service Check In and handover process for all visiting customers is followed
- Manage liaison between workshop and service reception on customer vehicle progress
- Resolve customer issues in line with manufacturer brand standards and customer expectations
- Manage and check quality of all invoicing to minimise warranty and external debt risk
- Deal with all Credit Control department queries in an efficient manner and taking steps to correct further errors
- Full WIP controls
- Cash Debt Controls
- Ensure that all internal and external customers receive excellent levels of customer service
- Identify any difficulties a customer may experience within any department and resolve these alongside the other departments within the team
- Assist the Aftersales Manager with the management and recruitment of the service team in order to deliver a first-class customer experience
- Identify team members' individual training and development needs
- To support Aftersales Manager in additional duties and deputise as required
- At least 2 years' experience within a Main Dealership or similar environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service skills
