**Job Summary:** Medicines Management Expert

We are seeking an experienced Medicines Management Expert to join our team. As a Medicines Management Expert, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to optimize patient care and improve prescribing practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead improvements to maximize safe, cost-effective best practices in prescribing.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement pharmaceutical support plans.
  • Analyze and interpret prescribing data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with dispensary and pharmacy teams to ensure accurate and efficient dispensing of medication.
  • Collaborate with Community Pharmacists to reinforce changes made and encourage savings through generics, dose optimizations, etc.

Requirements:

  • Professional registration with GPhC
  • BTEC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in pharmaceutical sciences
  • Evidence of continued professional development (CPD)
  • Experience working as a qualified, registered pharmacy technician in primary care, community, or hospital pharmacy
  • Demonstrate ability to think analytically and draw logical solutions to problems

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
