Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. As a Lead Psychologist in Cancer Services, you will play a key role in setting up and developing our psychological provision for cancer services in the area.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our multidisciplinary teams, develop local plans and pathways, and provide input to meetings and clinics. You will also be responsible for offering training and supervision, as well as conducting psychological assessments and interventions for patients.

About the Role

As a Clinical Psychologist in Cancer Care, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing psychological interventions for patients with cancer
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop local plans and pathways
  • Providing input to meetings and clinics, and offering training and supervision
  • Conducting psychological assessments and interventions for patients
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for patients
