SEN Teaching Assistant Position in Bristol Schools

This role is based in Bristol, BS1, and involves carrying out professional duties, responsible for group support/1:1 support, ensuring the safety and welfare of pupils, and 1:1 care. The position starts immediately, and the estimated salary is between £95-£120 per day, depending on the assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nurturing and supportive assistance to students with special educational needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to develop inclusive classroom practices and strategies.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe and welcoming learning environment.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- A Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working with children with SEND conditions and understanding how to support teachers in the classroom is crucial.
- Familiarity with inclusive classroom practices and the ability to adapt to different learning environments is also essential.
