About the Role

Austin Fraser is seeking an experienced Respite Care Professional to join our team in providing support to adults with learning disabilities and associated physical disabilities in a respite service environment.

This permanent, full-time position requires working 30 hours per week and covers a late shift, an early shift, or a day shift on a rota that is planned 4 weeks in advance.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • You must be able to work days and after shifts; this could be an early shift followed by an afternoon shift or a long day.
  • You must commit to full-time hours and have eligibility to work in the UK.
  • You will need to maintain good communication with colleagues and manage complex situations.

What We Offer

Our competitive salary package includes £23,107 plus an 8.5% all-inclusive allowance.

In addition to our salary, you will receive 29 days/214.6 hours holiday a year (pro-rata for part-time staff) plus an additional 5 days/37 hours (pro-rata for part-time staff) after 5 years of continuous service within Local Government.

We also offer a healthcare plan and very competitive pension options, including tax-free cash exchange, flexible retirement, and early retirement options.
