Austin Fraser seeks a dedicated and hardworking individual to fill the role of Adult Respite Service Provider. As a full-time support worker at 30 hours per week, you will provide essential care and support to adults with learning disabilities and/or associated physical disabilities.

Working on a rotational basis, you will cover late shifts, early shifts, and day shifts, with two days off together in a seven-day period whenever possible. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of our new model of short stay and assessment.

The respite services are registered to provide care and support to adults with complex needs. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that patterns of care and support within the shift are based on the principles of good quality care, maintaining safeguarding legislation and reflecting control, cleanliness, comfort, safety, participation, involvement, privacy, dignity, and choice.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to work flexibly on a rota which includes evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. A calm, resourceful, and energetic individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality care is required.

You will be working in a dynamic environment, providing care and support to adults with varying levels of need. Your responsibility will include maintaining accurate records, contributing to ongoing assessments, and engaging in regular communication with colleagues and management.
