We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Bright Horizons Teddington Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in leading and mentoring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to children in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team to deliver high-quality care and education to children
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the safety and well-being of children
- Contribute to succession planning, training, and professional development of colleagues
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with parents, carers, and other professionals
- Promote the nursery to current and potential customers to support retention and occupancy growth
- Ensure commercial success of the nursery by managing expenditure and budget KPIs
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Experience in an Early Years leadership role, ideally as a Deputy Manager or Assistant Manager
- Experience of participating in regulatory inspections, leading to a "Good" or "Outstanding" outcome
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
