Nursery Deputy Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Deputy Manager to join our management team at our lovely nursery in Twickenham. Working a 38-hour week, the salary is circa £36,000 plus a range of excellent benefits. Our nursery is conveniently located near good transport links, making it easy to get to work.

About Our Nursery

Beaumont House Nursery is a 92-place nursery based in Twickenham High Street, part of the CCNurseries Group. Our nursery has been designed to spark curiosity and imagination, with each room filled with handpicked resources to encourage self-directed play and discovery. We also have a strong focus on outdoor learning, with access to outdoor space and regular trips to local green spots.

Requirements
  • Support all teams within the nursery, working alongside the Manager.
  • Work alongside the Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery.
  • Ensure that all teams are providing stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times.
  • Lead and support your team, together with supporting their training needs to ensure best practice always.
  • Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS Curriculum and Ofsted are met.
  • Qualified level 3 or above, with at least 4 years' experience of working in a nursery and at least 2 years' experience of a leadership role.
