Job Title: Non-Residential House Parent

Meridian Business Support Limited is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to work as a Non-Residential House Parent at an educational establishment in Oxford.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a stable and secure boarding environment for students, promoting self-reliance and managed support.
  • Establish trust with parents and support the House Manager in the efficient running of the boarding residence.
  • Work within the boarding area during term time, sharing fully in the life of the whole boarding community.
Requirements:
  • SVQ3 Qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent (desirable).
  • Proven track record in boarding or similar older childcare setting.
  • Experience of pastoral care of students in an educational setting.
  • Safeguarding experience and training up to Level 2 or be willing to complete training.
  • Comprehensive First Aid Training including first response.

  • Full emotional and physical resilience, energy and perseverance.
