Job Summary
Musgrave is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a General Assistant. As a General Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service, maintaining a high standard of work, and contributing to the overall success of our store.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers via manned or self-scan checkouts, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Merchandise, order, date check, and rotate stock in all areas of the store, including fresh, ambient, and frozen products.
- Adhere to company and health and safety policies and procedures to protect yourself, customers, colleagues, and third parties.
- Ensure a high standard of work in everything you do, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Participate in stock take preparation and counting as required.

Requirements
- GCSE Maths and English, Grade C or above (or equivalent), and/or 6 months previous experience gained in the grocery sector, similar retail role, or customer service role.
- Previous experience of working in a team.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
