Deputy Home Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at The Cambian Group. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our care home, working closely with the Home Manager to maintain high standards of care and support for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Home Manager in the management of the care home, including staff supervision and appraisal.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to residents, in line with our company values and policies.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, in collaboration with the Home Manager and other members of the care team.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, in line with company guidelines.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to care staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
  • Experience of working in a care home environment, with a strong understanding of care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, with a high level of autonomy and decision-making.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
