About the Role

The University of Reading is a world-renowned institution, ranked highly in various international rankings. As part of our SportsPark department, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sports Operations Coordinator to join our Business & Operations team.

This is a key role that will provide essential facility and operational support to SportsPark users, as well as lead on the development and delivery of various sport and active wellbeing projects and programmes across the University.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and delivery to SportsPark users
  • Manage operational aspects of sports facilities, including health and safety
  • Support the development of new team members and contribute to the growth of sport and active wellbeing initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with the Business & Operations team to ensure efficient facility operations
Requirements
  • Excellent understanding and experience of customer service and delivery
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Operational management experience in sports facility operations
  • Ability to use initiative and contribute to the development of sport and active wellbeing
