About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charity Law Specialist to join our vibrant and growing Charities Team at Birketts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising a wide range of clients on charity law matters, including charity mergers, fundraising, structuring and restructuring, trading, investment matters, regulatory matters, and more.

Our Charities Team is a dynamic and supportive team of specialist charity law solicitors, led by Partner, Liz Brownsell. We are committed to delivering exceptional client service and are passionate about making a positive impact in the charity sector.

Birketts is a full-service law firm with a heritage spanning 160 years. We have a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal advice and are committed to making a positive contribution to the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on charity law matters, including charity mergers, fundraising, structuring and restructuring, trading, investment matters, regulatory matters, and more.
- Work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored advice.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the growth and development of our Charities practice.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor of at least 8 years PQE.
- Strong academic background.
- Good level of experience as a charity law specialist.
- A keen interest in business development and growth opportunities.
