About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiographer to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a Radiographer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as a general rotational radiographer throughout imaging core services at The Royal London Hospital, with some rotation to Mile End Hospital.
  • Provide high-quality imaging and patient care, adhering to the Trust's WeCare values.
  • Contribute to delivering a safe, effective, and efficient imaging service.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours imaging roster, providing 7 days of working.
  • Be responsible for a variable caseload of imaging, including plain film imaging, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, mobile fluoroscopy, dental imaging, and DEXA.
  • Work closely with radiographers and clinical staff of all grades in the safe, prompt, and effective imaging of patients.
Requirements
  • Degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HPC).
  • Full range of radiographic competencies in plain film and fluoroscopy.
  • Experience working in a busy acute setting.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, national standards, and professional guidelines.
  • Understanding of Ionising Radiation Regulations IRR 2018 and IR(ME)R 2017.
