Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team. As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality radiographic services to patients, ensuring that they receive timely and efficient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the clinical justification of referrals to ensure that the benefit to the patient outweighs the radiation risk associated with the examination.
  • Provide radiographic services to the agreed standards of the department, taking into account the patient's clinical, physical, and cultural needs.
  • Carry out on-call duties without supervision, monitoring and adjusting work priorities as needed.
  • Communicate with referrers and patients regarding examination details and necessary preparations.

Requirements

  • BSc Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • Current Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).

  • Demonstrates a positive approach to customer care.
  • Commitment to undertaking on-call, shifts, and weekend duties.
  • Flexible approach to working practice.
