Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Primary Schools

Connex Education Partnership is seeking dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to provide learning support to students in various Primary schools in Runcorn.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to assist students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis, explaining concepts, facilitating engaging activities, and promoting their educational development. Key responsibilities include managing behaviour challenges, preparing classroom resources, and supporting students with their learning.

We welcome Teaching Assistants of all experience levels, from those just starting out to expert assistants seeking new challenges. Full and part-time roles are available, with pay rates subject to experience and qualifications.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A patient, caring, and encouraging manner.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with students.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Confidence in handling classroom administrative tasks.

Required qualifications include:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant, Childcare, or Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent.

Alternatively, a minimum of 3-6 months of experience working with Primary School children is also acceptable.
