Job Specification: Site Support Assistant

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am - 5pm (shifts)

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Site Support Assistant to provide support to trades and Supervisors with unskilled tasks, including loading/unloading materials and completing non-trade activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist tradespeople with their tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Support Supervisors in managing the yard and stores, maintaining a safe and organized environment.
  • Adhere to company Health and Safety policies, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and colleagues.
  • Contribute to contractual obligations in a non-technical capacity, demonstrating a proactive approach.
  • Safely handle, manage, and deliver materials in stores and yards, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.

Professional Profile

  • Qualifications:
    • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
    • Valid UK driving licence
  • Skills:
    • Basic literacy and numeracy
    • Effective time management
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Knowledge of health and safety, including method statements and risk assessments
  • Experience:
    • Background in building maintenance (preferred)
    • Related work experience
