Special Needs Support Worker

As a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, providing personalized assistance to help them thrive in their learning environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with special needs.
- Assisting with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for each student.
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to create an inclusive classroom.
- Monitoring student progress and sharing updates with teachers and parents.
- Building strong relationships with students to support their growth.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience working with children with SEN.
- Strong understanding of SEN best practices and legal requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting all students.
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
