We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN nanny to join our family. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting children with autism and other special needs. The child we are looking after has communication and social interaction delays, is currently non-verbal but has made significant progress with the use of PECS. He has an approved EHCP and is an affectionate and friendly little boy who loves being outside. The successful candidate will have experience in writing IEPs, following EHCPs, and providing support with toileting, speech and language development. They will also have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be physically able to care for an active 4-year-old boy. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and passionate nanny to make a real difference in the life of a child with special needs.
Responsibilities will include providing one-to-one care and support to the child, as well as assisting with household chores and planning activities for the child's development. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support to children with special needs.
