Solotech is seeking a skilled Equipment Repair and Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a global leader in live productions, systems integration, and virtual technology, we deliver spectacular experiences worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement equipment maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of our live production loudspeaker rental stock.
- Collaborate with the Building Maintenance & Health and Safety Manager to maintain the overall upkeep of our UK sites.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, repair of movable property, carpentry, plumbing, lighting, and other related activities.
- Estimate project costs and manage budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Respond to emergency calls and travel as needed to support the team.
- Proven experience in the building trade, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant role.
- Excellent organizational and administration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation, management, and standards, as well as laws and regulations governing buildings.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- A competitive salary of £28k, depending on experience.
