We are seeking an exceptional Science Teacher to join our team at Service Care Education in Preston, UK. As a full-time educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, tailored to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.

Your role will involve teaching and learning, preparing students for assessments, adapting your teaching strategies based on data analysis, and contributing to the development of a stimulating science curriculum. You will also create diverse teaching materials, incorporating experiments, models, and digital resources, and stay up-to-date with advancements in science to integrate new practices and technology into your teaching methods.

Additionally, you will encourage participation in science activities, such as clubs and fairs, and support school-wide events promoting STEM education. You must adhere to safeguarding policies to ensure student well-being.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about fostering scientific curiosity and a love for learning. We welcome applications from qualified teachers or newly qualified teachers (NQTs) with experience in teaching science at the secondary level.

The salary for this position is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Requirements
  • Degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Science at the secondary level preferred; Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) welcome
