About the Role

Cygnet Health Care is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Cygnet St Augustine's, a specialist high support inpatient rehabilitation service for men.

Service Line Overview

Cygnet St Augustine's is a 32-bed specialist high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) for men. Our service provides a full multi-disciplinary programme that includes occupational therapy, psychology, psychiatry, and vocational training, offering service users the opportunities and support they need to stabilise their condition and enter society with a renewed sense of enthusiasm and optimism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to service users, including assessment, goal setting, and intervention planning.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide a comprehensive treatment programme.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy pathways and protocols.
  • Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with the HCPC.
  • Experience of working in a mental health setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
