About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curator to join our team at Wellcome Collection. As a Curator, you will play a key role in developing and delivering our ground-breaking temporary exhibition programme, which explores the past, present, and future of health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver exhibitions and displays, taking the lead on specific projects and collaborating with colleagues to achieve our curatorial strategy.
  • Contribute to the development of our curatorial strategy, ensuring that our exhibitions and displays are engaging, accessible, and relevant to our audiences.
  • Act as an advocate and public spokesperson for our exhibitions programme and Wellcome Collection, representing our organisation at events and in the media.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of developing compelling and accessible programming and engagement for a range of audiences, including exhibitions, displays, and public events.
  • Experience of working with artists, stakeholders, and other professionals to deliver projects, including research, design, loans processes, marketing, and press and promotion.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills, including the ability to represent Wellcome Collection publicly and communicate complex issues.
