About the Role

We are seeking an experienced curator with expertise in the period 1790–1850 to join our team at Tate Museum.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct research and write engaging texts to share with our audience.
  2. Develop and implement activities related to our collection, including exhibitions and changing displays.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to promote our collection.
  4. Represent Historic British art at Tate Museum and contribute to its development.
  5. Manage and maintain our permanent displays, ensuring they are engaging and informative.
  6. Research and propose new acquisitions to enhance our collection.
  7. Collaborate with colleagues to devise, develop, and deliver exhibitions and changing collection displays.
