About the Role

VANRATH is delighted to partner with a successful business in Newtownabbey, offering an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to develop into a Management Accountant role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report and review sales, margin figures, and cash balances, identifying variances.
  • Monitor key KPIs to support daily business operations.
  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts.
  • Reconcile balance sheet items, including stock, inter-company balances, supplier payments, and receipts.
  • Prepare weekly payroll reports and process payments on time.
  • Assist with VAT returns and complete monthly Intrastat returns.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience working as an Assistant Accountant.
  • Qualified accountant, CIMA or ACCA.
  • Team player with a desire to learn and progress.
