We are seeking a skilled Tutoring Specialist - Functional Skills to join our team at Pearson.

As a Tutoring Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of our learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver English and Mathematics Functional Skills qualifications at Levels 1 and 2 in a dynamic and engaging manner.
  • Design and develop innovative teaching materials that consider differentiation and individual learning styles.
  • Provide exceptional onsite and remote support to ensure learners achieve their full potential.
Requirements:
  • Possess a relevant teaching qualification, such as PTLLS, CTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE, or DTLLS.
  • Hold a minimum level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics.
  • Demonstrate expertise in delivering Functional Skills (English and Mathematics) up to level 2 with a proven track record of success.
  • Have experience providing face-to-face and remote support using various delivery methods.
  • Be able to develop practical and innovative delivery models that cater to diverse learner needs.
