Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our established community therapy team at East Cheshire NHS Trust. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment services to adults within the CHAW Care Community.

This role involves working collaboratively with a wider integrated team consisting of Physiotherapists, Therapy Assistants, GPs, District Nurses, ACPs, and Social Workers. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in the NHS, with a broad range of rotations including physical and mental health fields. A valid HCPC registration and relevant professional degree or diploma are essential criteria.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Main Duties of the Job
  • To act as a clinical specialist providing a high standard of comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment service to patients with diverse health needs across the CHAW area.
  • To utilise sound communication via liaison and referral to other agencies as required embracing care community team philosophies.

Person Specification
  • Knowledge of recent NHS legislation, recommendations.
  • Awareness of the national and local priorities and changing trends in specialist area.
