Job Title: Chief Technical Officer

At Trilitech, we're seeking a highly experienced Chief Technical Officer to lead our engineering function and drive the technical vision and strategy of our key engineering units within the Tezos ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability across the engineering function
  • Define and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with the Tezos Roadmap and objectives
  • Champion delivery focus and operational excellence while being rigorously customer-centric
  • Stay on top of emerging technologies and trends within the blockchain and cryptocurrency space, selecting technologies and tools to optimize performance and scalability
  • Collaborate closely with other senior leaders to foster strong cross-functional partnerships in the delivery of high-quality solutions
  • Establish and enforce data-driven quality standards and best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and performance monitoring
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development processes, tools, and methodologies

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background with extensive experience as a software engineer building complex solutions
  • Proven track record of success as a manager of managers
  • Experience leading large-scale complex projects concurrently with the ability to prioritize effectively and deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines
  • Prior experience working with Blockchain technology or an in-depth interest/understanding of it
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of the senior leadership team
