Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and strong-willed individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant for Special Educational Needs. The successful candidate will provide support to students across the school, working closely with teachers and SENCo's to adapt support according to individualised needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical, social, and emotional support to students with SEMH needs
- Work alongside teachers to develop tailored plans to ensure the best care for each individual child
- Support students in a fast-paced environment, managing behaviors that challenge
- Collaborate with the class teachers and SENCo's to ensure pupils' needs are catered for
Requirements
- Experience supporting children or young adults with SEMH needs is desirable but not essential
- Pay rate: £13.50 per hour
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage challenging behaviors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
