We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at The Calico Group. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate monthly management information to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing accurate and timely management information to stakeholders
  • Preparing a monthly set of management accounts
  • Conducting operational finance analysis and reporting
  • Creating budgets and reviewing monthly performance with managers
  • Partnering with the Operations team to improve their understanding of finance
  • Ensuring financial controls are in place and continually improving
  • Supporting the delivery of relevant regulatory and legislative compliance

THE PERSON

  • Accountancy experience within a similar environment, including the production of Management Accounts
  • Experience of budget setting and the development of detailed financial forecasts
  • A strong working knowledge of transactional accounting and complex accounting concepts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail
  • An ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, at all levels
  • Ideally working towards a Professional Accountancy Qualification (or Qualified by Experience)
