About this Exciting Opportunity:

Riverside Recruitment is recruiting for a Recruitment and Training Operations Director to join our client's team in Carlisle. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's manufacturing operations.

Job Description:

  • Lead the development and implementation of labour planning models to drive efficiency and productivity
  • Manage a team of 3 direct reports, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
  • Collaborate with the site Supply Chain Manager to align labour, training, and customer demand requirements
  • Design and deliver training programmes to upskill staff and address skills gaps
  • Monitor and control overtime spend, ensuring it remains within budget

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in labour planning, recruitment, and training in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business drivers and KPIs
  • Experience in managing teams and leading change initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
