About Our Job

We are recruiting for an experienced Assistant Bar Manager to join our team at The Scotsman Group. As an Assistant Bar Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Bar Manager in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the bar, providing exceptional service, and driving business goals.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role within a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment. They will possess excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as a good understanding of stock control, cash handling, and cost management.

  1. Main Objectives:
  2. Assist the Bar Manager in staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service.
  3. Lead shifts to ensure smooth service delivery.
  4. Train, develop, and motivate bar staff to deliver high standards of service and hospitality.
  5. Support the Bar Manager in driving sales, implementing promotions, and creating a positive experience for guests.
  6. Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally and timely.
  7. Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role within a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
  2. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  3. Good understanding of stock control, cash handling, and cost management.
  4. Knowledge of health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and food safety standards.
  5. Passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
