About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Stamp Taxes Director to lead our Real Estate Tax practice at Evelyn Partners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing tax advisory and compliance services to UK and international property investors and developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of Stamp Taxes advice for various teams across the practice.
  • Provide exceptional client service to partners/directors in the firm and to clients directly.
  • Lead on complex Stamp Taxes assignments, providing technical sign-off and consultation.
  • Identify opportunities to grow a client account and/or to manage risks.
  • Act as a trusted adviser and engage with clients on wider commercial and strategic issues.

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) and/or CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA, law qualification)
  • Significant experience in Stamp Taxes gained from practice and/or industry
  • Client-driven and commercially minded
  • Strong awareness of other key taxes and, in particular, for the Real Estate sector
  • Excellent project management, working with various teams
  • Demonstrable experience of managing people and clients
  • Excellent communicator
  • Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
