Store Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our Newark SPAR store. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Store Operations: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and stock control.
  • Customer Service: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Sales and Profitability: Set and achieve sales targets, actively driving initiatives to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Community Engagement: Actively participate in local community events and initiatives to strengthen the store's ties with the community.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in retail management, with a track record of success in achieving sales targets.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and the local community.
  • Retail Operations: Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management and merchandising.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to drive business performance.

  • Competitive Salary: Salary of £28,000 + bonus potential of up to £7,800.
