Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Structures Asset Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our transportation infrastructure team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing asset management strategies for highway bridges and structures. Your expertise will help us to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our transportation network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement asset management plans for highway bridges and structures
  • Conduct bridge inspections and maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize renewal and maintenance projects
  • Utilize asset management systems to track and analyze data
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and contract service schedules

Requirements:

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Working towards Professional Qualification, MICE, MIAM, MIStructE, or similar
  • Knowledge and experience of highway bridge asset management and bridge inspection and maintenance activities
  • Awareness of RWSC, DMRB, and SHW
  • Understanding of asset management systems
  • Understanding of working within the Strategic Road Network, with National Highways
  • Experience in Windows server operating systems
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Current UK driving license
