Land Manager Job Description

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a highly skilled Land Manager to join our team. As a key member of our renewable energy team, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and securing land suitable for solar, wind, and energy storage projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and secure land for solar, wind, and energy storage projects
  • Establish and maintain a network of reliable contacts and introducers
  • Work closely with legal advisors to manage development processes, including Heads of Terms, Option, and Lease agreements
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of commercial activities in relation to property and land law
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality work under pressure and with minimal supervision
Requirements:
  • Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. surveying or land/estate management)
  • Extensive network of contacts across the UK in relation to land
  • Solid understanding of commercial activities in relation to property and land law
  • Experience in renewable energy and large infrastructure projects
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure and with minimal supervision
