Carrington West is pleased to be working with a well-established planning consultancy seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Director to join their team in Sheffield. Embracing their hybrid working model, the successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues from various offices and contribute to projects spanning the entire country.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead projects involving diverse development plan/policy and development management tasks, including overseeing planning applications of all scales, local plan representations, site promotion, appeals, Examination in Public (EiP), and public inquiry work.
- Demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management skills by actively engaging with clients, attending networking events, and nurturing personal contacts to promote the company.
- Play a pivotal role in day-to-day office management and mentor junior members of the planning team.
- Qualified Town Planner with a minimum of 8 years' professional experience in either the private or public sector.
- Chartered membership with the Royal Town Planning Institute is essential.
- Undergraduate degree and a postgraduate qualification in Planning are ideal.
