Practice Nurse Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Practice Nurse to work in a supportive environment for 3 days per week. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and have the opportunity to work with a friendly and collaborative team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough health assessments and provide preventative care to promote patient well-being
  • Administer vaccinations and immunizations as required, ensuring accurate recording and follow-up
  • Support patients with chronic disease management, providing education and guidance
  • Perform minor treatments and procedures, adhering to professional standards and guidelines
  • Offer advice on health promotion and lifestyle changes, empowering patients to make informed decisions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and data protection
  • Collaborate with the practice team to deliver seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (NMC registered) with current practicing status
  • Previous experience as a Practice Nurse or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of nursing procedures and protocols
  • Competence in performing nursing procedures, including vaccinations and wound care, with attention to detail and precision
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care and a willingness to listen actively
  • Available to work 3 days per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands

The estimated salary for this position is £42,000 - £57,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
