About the Role

The successful candidate will have around 1 year of agency experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of media relations and the press. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting day-to-day account handling, pitching story ideas, researching and writing thought leadership reports, and building relationships with key media contacts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Media Relations Strategy: Develop and execute media relations strategies that drive engagement and deliver results.
  2. Content Creation: Create engaging content for social media platforms, including media pitches, opinion editorials, and web copy.
  3. Pitching Story Ideas: Develop and pitch story ideas to secure media coverage, write and distribute press releases, and build relationships with key media contacts.
  4. Research and Analysis: Assist with research and production of thought leadership reports, analyzing results and providing insights to clients.
  5. Social Media Management: Develop and manage social media strategies, creating and scheduling content to engage target audiences.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Around 1 year of agency experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of media relations and the press.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
