Job Title: Media Relations Specialist Lead

We are looking for a talented Media Relations Specialist Lead to join our team at The Opportunity Hub UK in Chiswick, London.

As a Media Relations Specialist Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping compelling narratives and securing high-quality media coverage for our B2B clients.

Salary: £36,000 - £41,000 per annum

Job Description:

In this role, you will develop and implement strategic PR campaigns to achieve client objectives. Your expertise in media relations, combined with your passion for communication, will enable you to secure high-quality media coverage across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of B2B clients across diverse sectors, including media, marketing, data, e-commerce, tech, creative, and design.
  • Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns to achieve client objectives.
  • Secure high-quality media coverage across a range of platforms, including trade press and national publications.
  • Proactively identify newsjacking and other PR opportunities to maximize client exposure.
  • Provide ongoing account management and support, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 9 months of experience as an PR Account Manager in a PR agency.
  • Proven track record of success in B2B PR.
  • Media relations skills with established contacts across the trade press and ideally, national media.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • A strong understanding of the B2B marketing landscape.
  • A passion for the PR industry and a willingness to learn.

Work Permissions: You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
