About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse / Advisor to join our team at Appoint Group. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing expert evidence-based case management services for referrals relating to attendance, fitness to work and other requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice in respect of legislative requirements and best practice
  • Provide professional and evidence-based written reports
  • Provide fitness medicals and health surveillance where required
  • Evaluate the results of medicals and surveillance provided
  • Committed to maintaining valid and up-to-date registration with the NMC and complying with NMC guidelines in relation to professional issues, clinical supervision and continuous learning and development as a registered nurse
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse - valid NMC UK pin with no restrictions
  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma
  • At least 2 years experience working in occupational health in the UK is essential
  • Experience of exposure to case management and health surveillance
  • Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation
