Medical Device Engineering Manager

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team working on software that powers PCR machines and laboratory equipment, interfacing with hospital IT systems, printers, analysers, and bare-metal devices. The role involves analysing requirements, translating them into work packages, and leading and mentoring the team to build efficiency using tools like Jira and best work practices.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in Java, C#, or C++, with hands-on experience in an Android development environment.
- Familiarity with medical device standards (e.g., IEC 62304), or experience in automotive or functional safety environments (desirable but not essential).
- Strong analytical skills to break down requirements and architect effective solutions.
