About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Specialist for Medical Devices to join our team at Clinical Professionals Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the design and development of medical devices meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop medical devices that meet customer needs and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of development projects
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, EU MDR, and FDA 21 CFR 820 regulations
  • Develop and maintain 3D CAD data and drawings
  • Liaise with project teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A BSc, HND, or HNC degree in a relevant field (medical, scientific, or engineering discipline)
  • Up to two years of experience in a private sector role involving the manufacture of medical devices within a QMS (ISO 13485 and 21 CFR)
  • Experience in 2D and 3D CAD packages (preferably SolidWorks) is beneficial
