Job Summary

Movianto is seeking a skilled Regional Transport Training Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring all new starters into driving positions are inducted, upskilled, and trained to effectively perform driving duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom training on topics including CPC, safe driving, economical driving, manual handling, SOPs/WIs, and soft skills.
  • Attend each site in the region a minimum of once per calendar month to provide on-site training and support.
  • Schedule and coordinate training required within your designated region, managing your own diary to ensure the needs of the business are met.
  • Create and maintain digital learning content, such as e-learning and videos, to support training delivery.
  • Maintain digital records of training delivered and completed, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Support DCM/DCS with on-site inductions and role-specific training, as well as deliver practical training sessions on vehicle operation.
  • Assess employee competence of driving all classes of company vehicles and provide on-the-job support and coaching to transport colleagues.
  • Periodically review and update training materials to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and best practices.
  • Report and manage KPIs, evaluating learning and ROI to inform future training initiatives.
  • Conduct TNAs and create ad-hoc training as required to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Achieve and maintain certification and professional membership of required bodies, including qualifications in manual handling, CPC instructor, driver training, and driver assessor.
  • Operational competence on van, with Category C and C+E license holder an advantage.
  • Customer/stakeholder-focused approach, with engaging presentation and delivery style.
  • Able to challenge and open to being challenged, with creative and inquisitive nature.
  • Good visual design skills, excellent communication, and team working skills.
  • Precision and accuracy, respecting guidelines and best practices, with a continuous improvement mindset.
