Main Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing network infrastructure support across a large client campus, with a primary focus on wireless estate management.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in networking, with a strong background in Aruba WiFi products and certifications in Clearpass and Airwave. They will also have experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Nokia, and HPE/Aruba.

Key Skills
  • Troubleshooting hardware and firmware issues on all networking infrastructure
  • Configuring and deploying network equipment
  • Adhering to strict policies and processes around security and data protection
  • Close contact with the customer to ensure project deliverables
  • Creating internal technical documents for local team
  • Complete Passive or Active Wireless surveys
  • Risk ownership and Escalation
Requirements
  • Aruba/HPE Network accreditation minimum Professional
  • Proven extensive networking background, minimum 4 years experience
  • Demonstrated ability to recognise and react to situations with a sense of urgency and problem ownership
  • Knowledge of network equipment from the following vendors - Cisco, Nokia & HPE/Aruba
Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £50-55k, plus benefits and on-call allowance claimed through overtime. This works out to be about 23% extra.

The role involves a 1:3 day shift rota, covering 7am to 7pm, and 1:3 on-call shift which covers 7pm to 7am and weekend hours.
