Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is £27,040, with opportunities for progression. Additional benefits include paid break times, flexible start and finish times, and 28 days of annual leave, increasing with each year of service.

Job Description

As a Quarry Operative, you will be responsible for producing and finishing stone products using a profiling machine. You will also ensure quality finishes on steps, quality check orders, and package them ready for delivery. Other duties may include operating different types of saws depending on business needs.

Requirements
  • Prior experience in manual roles or operating machinery is highly desirable.
  • Forklift truck experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
  • A valid driving license and personal transportation are preferred due to the location.
  • You should possess excellent physical abilities, reliability, efficiency, a positive attitude, and attention to detail.
