Join Our Team as a Registered Manager

We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our brand-new Residential Children's Home in Salisbury. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the high-quality reputation of our organization, a leading provider of specialist care.

You will manage a team dedicated to providing specialist residential care, therapy, and education for young people with complex needs. Supported by a robust team of residential support workers and the Senior Leadership Team, you will ensure a safe and nurturing environment for young people, working closely with other professionals to foster a genuinely therapeutic approach.

This rewarding role involves balancing the needs of individual children with a wide range of responsibilities, including financial management, quality assurance, recruitment, and liaison with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of residential support workers and ensure a safe and nurturing environment for young people
  • Work closely with other professionals to foster a genuinely therapeutic approach
  • Balance the needs of individual children with a wide range of responsibilities, including financial management, quality assurance, recruitment, and liaison with external stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience supporting children and young adults in a relevant position within residential care
  • Knowledge of Ofsted (proven Ofsted record desirable)
  • At least one year of experience in a role supervising and managing staff in a care setting
  • Driven to work holistically with other professionals to ensure young people reach their full potential and have the best life chances
  • Must be a driver with access to a car
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about helping young people
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to negotiate, influence, and exercise emotional intelligence
