About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Disability Assessor to join our team at Medacs Healthcare. As a Disability Assessor, you will use your clinical expertise to conduct thorough assessments and provide high-quality reports for individuals claiming Personal Independence Payment (PIP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals claiming PIP, using your clinical knowledge and expertise to gather information and make informed decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong report writing and communication skills, ensuring that all reports are clear, concise, and accurate.
  • Work autonomously, with support from a multi-disciplinary team, to deliver high-quality assessments and reports.
  • Participate in coaching, auditing, and team management activities to support the development of the assessment team.
Requirements
  • Current and unrestricted registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), or Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) with a minimum of 1 year post-registration UK experience.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and typing skills, with proficiency in IT systems.
  • A commitment to delivering a high-quality service, with a focus on integrity and professionalism.
